Publicly Available Specification (PAS 525:2018)
                                                                for Assessing the Competence of Professional
                                                                Engineers
                                                                ECUK has worked with BSI to develop an internationally
                                                                applicable Publicly Available Specification (PAS 525:2018) for
                                                                assessing the competence and commitment of engineering
                                                                professionals.  This  framework  defines  a  standard  for
                                                                knowledge,  skills  and  behaviours  that  are  required  to
                                                                build and maintain competence within a rapidly changing

                                                                EUR-ACE Review
                                                                Following  the  EUR-ACE  review  of  EngC  accreditation
                                                                standards and processes that was conducted between
                                                                November 2018 and March 2019, the ENAEE Label Committee
                                                                extended the label authorisation for the full period of 5 years
                                                                from 1 January 2019. 

         Publication of the new suite of standards documents is
         expected to be in  late-2020, with a transition  period for
         implementation.


         International Engineering Alliance (IEA) Annual
         Meeting
         EngC hosted the IEA from 24-29 June 2018 in London,
         consisting of 150 delegates representing 45 bodies from 36
         jurisdictions around the world. The meeting included a series
         of workshops and discussion forums, followed by business
         meetings of the three engineering Education Accords and
         four Competence Agreements.
