The Federation of the Scientific Engineering Unions (FNTS)
in Bulgaria is a professional, scientific and educational,
association – umbrella organization for 19 national associa-
tions - Scientific and Technical Unions / STU /, 34 territorial
associations, which have more than 15000 professionals –
engineers and scientists all over the country.

The Federation publishes its own newspaper “Science and
Society”. The members of the Federation publish 12 scien-
tific journals. The Federation operates a Vocational training
center licensed by the National Agency for Vocational
Education and Training. The Federation is owner of SME -
“INOVATICS” LTD engaged in R&D activities.
