                                                                 considering the decrease of the awarded Engineering Cards
                                                                 and the countries issuing them, it has been decided to keep
                                                                 the Engineering Card and EUR ING separated and to rather
                                                                 focus on improving the value of the latter, the possibility of
                                                                 introducing a validity period and the demonstration of CPD
                                                                 and by assessing learning outcomes. This ongoing work on
                                                                 the EUR ING criteria is closely linked with the challenge, long
                                                                 discussed in the EMC, to revise the EUR ING special cases
                                                                 and to evolve towards competence-based assessment. The
                                                                 CALOHEE project, in which FEANI is an associated partner,
                                                                 has also been of long interest to the EMC, who supported
                                                                 FEANI’s involvement in its different phases. The TUNING
                                                                 CALOHEE framework could also be a valuable reference in
                                                                 the revision of the EUR ING title. The EMC will from now
                                                                 on send representatives to the CALOHEE project meetings.
                                                                 Another important task endorsed by the EMC these past two
                                                                 years was to ensure the updating of the new EEED since the
                                                                 convergence of the FEANI Index and the EUR ACE database,
                                                                 in order to have a tool as complete as possible, considering
                                                                 that it represents a unique selling point for FEANI. The EMC
                                                                 has also considered and supported the Engineers for Europe
