Member associations: The Portuguese FEANI committee was created in 1993,
following an agreement signed between the Ordem Dos Engenheiros and the Ordem
dos Engenheiros Técnicos. There is no formal coordination of the two institutions.

Activities in 2018 and 2019 concerned:
• interventions in the legislative process on Higher Educa-
tion titles and degrees, regarding its effects in Engineer-
ing Education, in engineers activities and in their profes-
sional mobility
• follow-up to the OECD study carried out in Portugal on
the regulated professions, regarding the risks associated
with increasing deregulation
• interventions towards other professionals in the sense
of access to engineering activities, examples of which
are (Architects/Direction of Work) and (Nutritionists /
Portuguese delegation at FEANI ABM 2019
