The CSVTS is an umbrella associating 67 independent
learned, scientific, technical and engineering societies. Its
mission is to defend their professional and societal interests
in the country and abroad by representing them in communi-
cation with local political and professional bodies as well as
with international professional federations and associations.
One of the most important things is to mediate actual infor-
mation and global development trends of the science and
its applications in order to guarantee sustainable, resilient,
and safe development, and welfare for the humankind in
the severe situation of the climate change and the need of
greenhouse gases exhalation reduction.
