Becoming a FEANI member
On 13 October 2016, the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects’ (TMMOB-UCTEA) membership to FEANI was approved and as from 1 January 2017, its membership has been activated. UCTEA participated into General Assembly of FEANI held in Vienna, 6 October 2017.
Representation and Activities in Turkey
UCTEA aims to represent the engineers and the architects of our country in professional, economic, social, and cultural areas; protect and improve their rights and interests on the basis of the common interest of our people; ensure their professional, social and cultural development; and provide a common ground to use their professional experiences for the bene t of public. In this respect, it comprehends, interprets, and then informs the public on the social, political, and economic dimensions of the developments in their professional areas and in policies concerning their professions. It also prepares suggestions concerning the formulation of such policies for the common bene t of the public and to struggle for their enforcement.
The number of members of UCTEA is 536.898 and UCTEA has been maintaining activities with its 24 Chambers, 213 branches of its Chambers and 50 Provincial Coordination Councils.
UCTEA with its chambers, as from 1 January 2017, organized more than 200 symposiums, congress and workshops; prepared reports for informing society. More than 10.000 people participated into these activities held in various provinces.
