The association of unions of Engineers – Engineering Institution of Macedonia (EMI) held an Electoral Assembly in March 2016. A new President - Hristina Spasevska, Supervisory Board and Steering Committee were elected.
The association of unions of Engineers - Engineering Institution of Macedonia was awarded with the "Charter of the Republic of Macedonia" by the President of the Republic of Macedonia, Gjorgje Ivanov, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of EMI.
The 20 associations-members of EMI signed a Declaration for associating in EMI.
By the end of 2016 EMI has organized the rst constitutive
Assembly of the alumni organization Club of winners of the engineering Ring. The Club of winners is constituted of all the engineers who were best in their generation and thus were awarded with the Engineering Ring.
2016 was very important for us since it was a jubilee year - 70 years since EMI was founded.
In June 2017 the Engineering Institution of Macedonia in collaboration with EVN Macedonia was a host of Women in energy WIN 2017 conference. (http://win2017.engineer.org. mk) The conference was opened by the President of EIM Hristina Spasevska and the patron of the conference Stefan Peter, MBA Chairman of the Management Board of EVN Macedonia. Around 20 proven speakers and panelists from the country and abroad held a speech. About 150 guests from the country and abroad were attending the conference.
The prestigious event “Engineering Ring” took place on the banks of beautiful Ohrid lake, where the best engineers from the engineering faculties were awarded with a gold ring with the logo of the Engineering Institution of Macedonia.
