The CIBIC (as the Belgian NM) is currently engaged in the process of the FEANI EEED database update. However, this update task is strongly related to the EUR-ACE accred- itation process of all engineering schools for all their educational programmes. This process is well engaged for the French speaking Universities and High schools since they have mostly all been accredited and even already been re-visited by the CTI. In Flanders, only the engineering education pro le of the civil engineers group has been visited by CTI and subsequently received the EUR-ACE label. For the industrial engineers this is planned in the future. The term civil and industrial engineer in BE are not linked to one speci c specialisation as one would think. 
